Welcome to Acacia Wood Ranch! We are a small alpaca ranch in Redmond, WA. We bought our first 3 alpacas in 2005 and have been growing ever since! Our suris have beautiful and lustrous locks, and the animals have wonderful conformation and health. We believe in breeding for healthy, beautiful animals for the show ring and the fiber industry! We are also committed to help new and existing alpaca owners set up and maintain a viable ranch and business. Acacia Wood Ranch is committed to our clients long term - relationship is at the heart of our business.
Why alpacas? We get asked this all the time! We live in the heart of high tech - not the place most people think of for pastoral living! We love fiber - both Jeremy and Pati enjoy working with fiber and making something beautiful. Then there is the alpaca itself - a beautiful creature, stoic and graceful (most of the time), but with a sense of humor (so it seems, at times!) and playfulness. We knew we could involve our daughters in the raising and management of the farm with alpacas, and indeed we view this alpaca adventure as a family adventure.
